"In the beginning, I struggled writing papers because I would get highly overwhelmed in the assignment, now I have overcame that and I am able to flow my ideas easily onto paper. This class has been very beneficial to my learning and too onto my future endeavors. This course has made my think more creatively and has challenged my intellectual thinking."

ENGL1302
"My professor taught me that it's okay to ask questions when I don't know the answer, she taught me how to write a well-planned essay and with all the tools she gave us to determine what our essay is missing and how we should fix it."

"I went from being an author that was not certain about his work and over-thought everything into somebody who discovered his own particular composition style, and can rapidly and successfully compose a paper. This portfolio was made so I can flaunt what I have gained from this class, and hotshot exactly the amount I have enhanced as an author. The work that I chose demonstrates that I have gained mind boggling ground this term."

"Great professor, genuinely cares about her students. I took her for English 1 and 2. Does give out a lot of assignments, but they are all quick and easy to finish. Very easy grader!"

What Students Have Said
ENGL2311
"At the beginning of this project [e-Portfolio Project] I was apprehensive. When I looked at the guidelines and instructions I felt like it was going to be very difficult because I was just unsure about what exactly I was doing. A lot of my apprehension also came from the fact that I have never used Google sites before. However, when I started actually diving into it, it became easier. I felt like it was very doable and helped me put all my thoughts and sources of achievement together."

"Initially, I began creating my blog with a moderate attitude on how this will, overall, increase my knowledge in technical writing. Upon creating the blog, and after finalizing its content, I have come to realize its importance within the subject matter of this class: organization and professionalism. These two characteristics are key in creating a successful blog, and now I am further interested in excelling it."
G. A.
"She is probably one of the nicest humans ever. I learned a lot in her class which I have put to use many times since. I did learn a lot, but the work did not seem particularly hard. I assume because I felt she was kind and respectful, it made everything great."
