Overall Career Objective: To secure an adjunct professor position with a community college by Fall 2015 in the English department, located in Texas (Dallas, Plano, or McKinney).

Educational Goals:

Goal #1: To graduate from Tiffin University with a Master’s of Humanities with a concentration in English and Creative Writing.

Action Steps:

• Enroll at Tiffin University

• Discuss dual concentration with my advisor

• Take necessary courses need to graduate

• Purchase graduation regalia

• Graduate

Goal #2: To pursue the Graduate Academic Certificate in Teaching Technical Writing from University of North Texas.

Action Steps:

• Secure funding for the course

• Enroll at UNT

• Take necessary courses need to obtain the certificate

• Consider applying the certificate to the Master of Arts in Professional and Technical Communication at UNT.

• Complete interviews with each college

• Become one of the best professors the institution has

• Look at what colleges offer creative writing classes

• Submit resume to college online job sites

• Complete interviews with each college

• Become one of the best professors the institution has
